Real Nutrition Support for Real Training
At Charge CrossFit, training is our foundation, but we know that what happens outside the gym matters too. Nutrition isn’t about being perfect or eating “clean” 24/7. It’s about fueling your body in a way that supports your training, your recovery, and your everyday life.
CrossFit gives us a simple starting point:
“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, and no sugar.”
But applying that in real life takes more than a quote. It takes awareness, consistency, and the flexibility to make choices that work for your goals and your routine.
So What Does That Look Like?
It’s not about meal plans or macros unless you want that. For most of us, it’s small shifts like:
- Making sure there’s some protein in your meals, even if that’s eggs in the morning or a quick shake after class.
- Swapping out daily sugary snacks or drinks a few times a week and seeing how your energy feels.
- Choosing foods that keep you full longer, so you’re not running on empty by the afternoon.
- Grabbing something good enough on a busy day, instead of skipping meals or hitting the drive-thru.
- Understanding that some days you’ll crush it, and other days you’ll just do your best and that’s part of the process.
For Plant-Based Athletes
If you’re vegetarian or vegan, the core idea doesn’t change. The focus is still on real, whole foods, just with different sources of protein like beans, tofu, lentils, or plant-based protein powders. It’s about planning a bit more and making sure you’re still recovering well and feeling strong.
Why We Talk About Nutrition at Charge
Training is what brings us together, but how you recover, eat, and take care of yourself is what keeps you showing up strong, day after day. You don’t have to track everything or follow a strict plan. But when you start thinking more intentionally about food, even in small ways, you’ll notice the difference.
Better energy. Better focus. Better workouts. That’s what we’re after.
The Bottom Line
We’re not here to sell you a diet. We’re here to support your goals with smart coaching, consistent training, and real-life nutrition guidance that works for you. You don’t have to do it alone.
Let’s make progress together.
